Becky focuses her practice in corporate and transactional law with an emphasis on start-ups and early-growth companies, social enterprise, and impact investing funds. She helps clients navigate entity formation, raising or investing capital, contract negotiations, and other transactional matters. She is a passionate advocate and advisor for clients looking to achieve the triple bottom line.
As a law student, Becky co-founded the Venture Law Society at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, which she used as a platform to develop a free legal clinic for entrepreneurs and start-ups; the annual Venture Law Summit conference; and a cross-disciplinary, student-run venture capital fund on campus. She was also Editor-in-Chief of The Race to the Bottom Blog, a corporate and securities-focused student-faculty blog at the Sturm College of Law.
