Evan works closely with entrepreneurs and their companies to help them navigate business matters such as formation, funding, governance, contracts, and more. Before becoming an attorney, Evan worked at marketplace tech start-up Flex Membership Share, learning firsthand about scaling an early stage company and the unique challenges entrepreneurs must face. There, Evan designed and implemented sales strategies and initiatives that dramatically increased the company’s partner business in a short time. Evan also interned with Napeague Capital, a family office focused on institutional grade trading, market arbitrage, and crypto assets.
While in Colorado with Flex, Evan was actively involved in the Boulder start-up ecosystem, frequently attending events put on by Techstars, Silicon Flatirons, and others. Genuinely passionate about all things entrepreneurship, tech, and venture, Evan loves meeting founders and investors, hearing the story behind a business, and talking shop. His practice is built on the thesis that founders and funders deserve counsel that is empathic to their own experience.
