Overview

Stephanie represents clients regarding their corporate and transactional matters. She is experienced in assisting companies ranging from start-ups to major public corporations. 

Stephanie has advised public company clients and executive officers on equity offerings, corporate governance, SEC compliance, stock exchange listing requirements, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and stockholder activism and proposals. She has represented public and private companies across a range of industries in both the transactional and regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financings.

Stephanie previously spent several years as an Associate in the Transactions practice of an AmLaw 50 firm. She was also a Summer Associate with the same firm. While pursuing her law degree, Stephanie worked as a student attorney with the University of Wisconsin Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic where she assisted local start-ups with incorporation, compliance, and business strategy.

Earlier, she worked as a legal intern at an insurance company, helping draft vendor contracts and conducting regulatory research on issues of data privacy and ERISA. Stephanie also spent time as a strategic advisor for a healthcare consulting company where she assisted healthcare startups in commercializing their businesses. Additionally, Stephanie helped manage a global phase III clinical trial as an operations intern at an international pharmaceutical company.

As an undergraduate, Stephanie spent over three years as a stem cell bioengineer at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, helping develop technology to assist in the clinical use of induced pluripotent stem cells. She was also selected as one of 20 students globally to conduct cellular signaling research at the University of Tokyo’s School of Pharmaceutical Science.
